- In 2014, Siddharth was caught driving under the influence of alcohol on New Year’s Eve. He was then fined Rs 2000 by the traffic police in Mumbai and his license was confiscated.
- In July 2018, he was arrested by the Mumbai Police for rash driving. He was driving his car at high speed and lost control and hit a divider in Oshiwara. He was booked under sections 279, 337 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and was released after paying a fine of Rs 5000.
- There was also some rift between Siddharth and his Balika Vadhu co-star Toral Rasputra. According to reports, things got worse between Sidharth and Toral when they were shooting for the honeymoon sequence in Kashmir. After returning from the shooting, there was no conversation between the two.
- Actor Kunal Verma had openly criticized Sidharth for his bad behavior on the sets of ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’. Kunal talks about Sidharth’s bad behavior on the sets of the show where the actor not only abused him but also threw water on him. Kunal said,He is a non-professional lunatic and a psycho. I think he needs mental treatment again. I heard he once went to rehabilitation (a course of treatment for drug or alcohol dependence) and I think he needs to go again.
