Premi Viswanath is an Indian television actress, model and anchor. She mainly appears in Malayalam and Telugu television serials and films. She is best known for playing the role of ‘Karthika Balachandran aka Karthu’ in Malayalam TV serial “Karuthamuthu” (2014).
She grew up in a middle-class family in Ernakulam, Kochi.
Before venturing into the television industry, Premi worked in a private firm in Ernakulam.
She started her career as a model by doing several print shoots.
Premi Viswanath is married to Dr. TS Vineet Bhatt, an astrologer.
Her husband was awarded the “World’s Best Astrologer 2017” award at the Russian Parliament in Moscow in 2017.
