Lubna Salim was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
His father worked as a journalist and later joined the film industry as a screenwriter.
His mother worked as a costume designer in the Hindi film industry.
Coming from a film background, she started acting in theater at an early age. His parents were members of the ‘Indian People’s Theater Association (a theater group). Lubna Salim gave his first performance with this group at the age of 7 and acted in Premchand’s famous play ‘Godaan’.
During her college, she participated in college plays and won the ‘Balraj Sahni award for best actress in an inter-college drama competition.
Lubna Salim started his acting career in 1988 with the TV serial Bharat Ek Khoj.
She is best known for playing the role of Leela Thakkar in the Star Plus TV serial Baa Bahu Aur Baby.
After that, she appeared in many TV serials like Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Khirki, Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live, and Teri Meri Doriyan.
Lubna Salim started his film career in 2007 with the Bollywood film Just Married.
