Hemangi Kavi was born and brought up in Mumbai. While in college, he joined theater and started his acting career with the theater drama Shame to Shame. Soon, he started getting acting offers from Marathi series as well. She made her small screen debut in the year 2007 through a series titled ‘Madmad Sasu Ae Dhadam Sun’. His acting made him a household name. Then she was seen in another acclaimed comedy show called ‘Fu by Fu’.
Apart from television series, he has also acted in some of the most acclaimed Marathi films. He started his career in the year 2008 with the Marathi film ‘Rangi Berange’. Since then, she has never looked back and for the next 5 years, she has appeared in around a dozen Marathi films. Some of his most acclaimed performances include films such as Paradh, Pangira, Gola Berridge, and Dharmantar.
