Falaq Naaz was born and brought up in Meerut, a city in Uttar Pradesh. She was quite young when she lost her father and was born on 2 December 1991. His mother, sister Shefaq and brother Shehzaan form his family. After his father passed away, his mother was entrusted with the responsibility of the entire family. The family follows the tenets of the Islamic faith.

Falaq Naaz became interested in acting and performing arts when she began receiving instruction from the late Saroj Khan, a legendary dancer, and choreographer, at the Indian Cinema and Television Institute in her city.

Falaq Naaz’s mother was persuaded by Saroj Khan to move from Meerut to Mumbai. Falaq Naaz encouraged Shafaq and Falaq Naaz to give acting a chance. As soon as he reached Mumbai, Falaq Naaz signed Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as his first project. Falaq Naaz had a brief cameo. 

Falaq Naaz then got a role in the famous religious TV show Devo Ke Dev… Mahadev, in which she mainly played the character of Goddess Lakshmi and Mother Sita. She appeared in this TV show from 2011 to 2014.
